Calvin D. Wiersma

Financial Advisor

A fan of high-touch client care and level-headed solutions, Calvin joined our growing client care team in early 2020 with experience in tax, estate planning, account management, and trust administration. He was an ideal fit for our clients and our Grand Wealth Management team.

Having grown up in the Midwest, Calvin describes himself as practical and even-keeled. “I was attracted to the comprehensive approach Grand Wealth Management takes with its clients. There’s a local feel, but a high level of service that appeals to me.”

On any given day, you’ll find Calvin monitoring client portfolios to ensure they remain properly aligned with our client’s goals. He also provides financial planning and analysis support, keeps an eye on the big picture when reviewing details, and addresses client questions and requests as needed.

Before joining Grand Wealth, Calvin was part of the wealth management group for a national financial services bank for seven years. There, he supported its financial planning, estate planning, and trust administrative service offerings.

Calvin’s passion for service goes beyond Grand Wealth Management. He enjoys volunteering with the United Way to prepare income tax returns for others in the Grand Rapids community each spring. In his free time, you’ll find him cooking with the bounty from the local farmer’s market, sailing Lake Michigan, or escaping to his favorite spots in northern Michigan.
