Connecting the details to the bigger picture
As an Financial Advisor, Nick works alongside the advisory team to help turn financial strategies into thoughtful, actionable plans. Drawing on his background in wealth management and tax planning, Nick supports the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans while helping ensure the many details behind each client relationship come together seamlessly.
Nick especially enjoys the problem-solving side of financial planning. Because every client’s circumstances are unique, he sees each situation as an opportunity to dig deeper, understand how the pieces fit together, and identify strategies that support the client’s broader goals. His experience as an Enrolled Agent brings an added tax perspective to his work.
“Every client’s situation is a little different, so there’s always something new to think through,” Nick shares.
Nick brings attention to detail and a willingness to listen to every client interaction. By understanding what clients and advisors need, he helps the team deliver the proactive, personalized approach Grand Wealth clients expect.
Finding the right fit in Grand Rapids
Nick’s move to Grand Wealth Management coincided with a desire to return to Grand Rapids to be closer to family. As he considered the next step in his career, he was drawn to Grand Wealth’s client-first approach and the opportunity to continue learning and growing as part of a collaborative team.
“I liked that Grand Wealth felt personal and relationship-driven, both in how the team works together and how we serve clients,” Nick shares.
Nick earned his MBA from Grand Valley State University’s Seidman College of Business and his bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in accounting from Hope College. He is also an Enrolled Agent and holds the Series 65 license.
Keeping an active pace
A former collegiate track athlete, Nick competed at both Hope College and Grand Valley State University. Today, he stays active through golf, running and trying new restaurants—preferably on the golf course or near a lake.
